The Ontario Energy Board
OEB is the governing body for the natural gas market in Ontario. The OEB is the body that approved every natural gas marketer’s license (including Active’s) to operate in Ontario. They have also published the Code of Conduct for Gas Marketers which outlines the rules and guidelines that marketers must follow when selling gas to customers.

EGD is one of three natural gas utilities in Ontario, and facilitates the delivery of the gas you purchase from Active to your home. EGD is also in charge of your billing and mater reading, and will guarantee that your gas supply will continue as long as you continue to pay your bill.
